Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking a Driver I to move vehicles through auction lanes and support inventory management. You'll work with a tight-knit team, stay active, and play a key role in delivering a smooth customer experience on busy auction days.

No prior education is required, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential. The role offers part-time hours with a paid hourly rate and opportunities to add hours based on auction needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and throughout auction grounds, following all driving procedures and safety rules.
• Transport vehicles to designated areas on auction premises and to customer dealerships as needed.
• Help locate misplaced vehicles or move inventory as required.
• Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
• Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a culture of safety.

Work Schedule

Wednesday: 9am-1pm (Possibility to get additional hours based on auction needs.)

Pay Rate

$15.93

USD 15.93 per hour

What You'll Do

• Safely drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and throughout auction grounds, following all auction driving procedures, traffic laws and defensive driving practices.
• Transport vehicles to and from designated areas on auction premises, as well as customer dealerships and business locations, providing a professional and courteous experience.
• Help locate misplaced vehicles or move inventory as needed.
• Communicate vehicle issues to the appropriate teams.
• Follow all safety and health procedures and actively contribute to a culture of safety excellence.

• May be required to work overtime based on business needs.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license and safe driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• Previous auction experience
• Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to walk long distances
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear
• Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

This role may involve frequent exposure to varying outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levels.

Compensation

Hourly pay rate is $15.93. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
