Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation in Gillette, Wyoming, is looking for a Salad Cook to help set the foundation of our culinary success. The ideal candidate will manage high-volume salad production and ensure quality service while maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High volume production management experience preferred but not required.
• Must be of legal working age.
• Ability to lift and carry 35 lbs unassisted.
• Ability to be active for 80-90% of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Prep or direct preparation of salads using established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of salad station.
• Assist with preparation and plating of desserts as needed.
• Follow food preparation and handling techniques.

• Be of legal working age
• Must be able to lift & carry 35 lbs. Unassisted
• Have the ability to move around 80-90% per shift
• Must be able to perform work for 8-10 hours per shift
• Operate & handle small tools

A Salad Cook will:

• Prepares or directs preparation of salads served using established production procedures and systems.
• Ensure that the salad station is fully stocked, organized, and clean throughout the shift.
• Occasionally assist with the preparation and plating of desserts as needed.
• Follows proper food preparation and handling techniques.
• Stores food properly and safely, marking the date and item.
• Complies with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards.
• Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor.
• Keeps work area neat and clean at all times; cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation.
