Job summary

Fogo de Chão in New York is seeking a Market Table Attendant / Kitchen Prep to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare and present salad bar items, desserts and side dishes while maintaining high quality inventory and proper storage practices.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work on weekends/holidays. Full-time employment includes medical, dental, and vision insurance and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to transport objects up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Previous kitchen prep or salad bar experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides support through preparation and proper presentation of all salad bar items, side dishes and desserts according to recipe in an efficient manner.
• Ensures that the quality of all inventory and fresh produce are of the highest standards including proper management of inventory levels including the storage area.
• Assists management with tracking of expiration dates on all products.
• Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and areas.
• Complete any beginning or closing shift duties.
