Job summary

First Citizens is seeking a SailPoint operations engineer to manage day-to-day administration, support, and stability of the IGA platform. You will monitor and troubleshoot SailPoint operations, support identity lifecycle and access governance, and partner with engineering, application, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and maintain platform performance.

This role can be hired remotely in NC, AZ, VA and TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years' experience or HS Diploma with 6 years in systems engineering, networking, or information security.
• 3+ years of SailPoint support preferred.
• Experience with agile methodology and issue trackers like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Active Directory, JDBC, Web Services, SCIM 2.0, AWS/Azure.
• Knowledge of Java/BeanShell, SQL, REST APIs, XML.
• ServiceNow and CyberArk integration with SailPoint IIQ preferred.
• Multi-domain AD forests for cross-domain/group memberships in IIQ.
• TLS certificate installation and security practices a plus.
• Familiarity with Connectors, RBAC, Workflows, Certifications, Birthright provisioning.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 operational support for SailPoint, including incident management and troubleshooting.
• Monitor provisioning, deprovisioning, identity refresh, certifications, and scheduled jobs.
• Investigate and resolve provisioning failures, workflow issues, and data synchronization problems.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificates for SailPoint servers, connectors, APIs, databases, and other systems.
• Support SailPoint applications and connectors, including JDBC, RACF, file-based integrations.
• Maintain runbooks, documentation, and audit evidence.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Participate in on-call or after-hours support as required.
