Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the enterprise Identity Governance and Administration platform supporting the HCD division. The role collaborates with Compliance, Identity Architecture, and Security to deliver secure IAM services including provisioning workflows and RBAC.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years SailPoint engineering and 2+ years with IdentityNow/ISC, plus experience with HRIS provisioning and Workday/AD/Okta integrations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years SailPoint Engineering experience building enterprise-grade applications and services.
• 2+ years of hands-on SailPoint experience (IdentityNow / Identity Security Cloud).
• Configure and troubleshoot SailPoint connectors, rules, transforms, and workflows from day one.
• Hands-on experience with identity provisioning architectures spanning HRIS, directory services, and identity providers (e.g., Workday, Active Directory, Okta).
• Understanding of software design patterns, scalable system design, and data modeling as applied to identity governance.
• Experience building and maintaining Joiner/Mover/Leaver/Rehire/Inactive lifecycle workflows and RBAC models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills; ability to diagnose across multiple identity systems.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain the enterprise Identity Governance and Administration platform.
• Partner with Compliance, Identity Architecture, Network Operations and Security teams to deliver secure IAM solutions.
• Contribute to provisioning workflows, lifecycle automation, and RBAC implementations.
• Support multi-tenant and cross-company identity environments and cross-functional access patterns.
