Job summary

Brown University Health in Fall River, MA seeks a radiography professional to perform diagnostic imaging and support patient care on a day shift with on-call rotation. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and participate in student education.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiography program, ARRT certification, and Massachusetts radiography licensure or eligibility; 1–3 years of experience preferred. M-F 7:00am-5:30pm plus call.

Qualifications

  • ARRT-certified radiographer with Massachusetts licensure or eligible for renewal.
  • 1–3 years radiography experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

SUMMARY:

Provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge of radiographic procedures, imaging equipment operation, radiation safety protocols, patient positioning techniques, and patient transfer practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities. Demonstrates professionalism, ethical conduct, and a commitment to quality patient care. Understanding of age-related developmental needs and considerations for pediatric and geriatric patient populations. Must be flexible and available to work overtime, participate in on-call coverage, and rotate weekends as needed. Interest in supporting the orientation, clinical training, and education of radiography students in accordance with established clinical education guidelines and radiologic technology program requirements.

Education Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiography Certificate Program or Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology.

Experience

One to three years of radiography experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Interest in supporting the training, orientation, and clinical education of radiography students in accordance with established clinical education program guidelines.

Certifications & Licensure

Current certification in Radiography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or equivalent certification, maintained through annual renewal. Current Massachusetts Radiography License, maintained through biannual renewal.

Pay Range:
