SUMMARY

Provides health care services to assist in diagnosis or treatment. RESPONSIBILITIES

0 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: One to three years experience preferred, but not required Knowledge of radiographic procedures, equipment operation, radiation safety, positioning techniques, patient transfers, Good communication skills, Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects, Ethical and professional conduct, good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics and geriatrics Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty, weekend rotations. Interest in participating in orientation/clinical education of student radiographers in accordance with clinical education center guidelines for radiologic technology program(s).

EDUCATION

• Graduate of Certificate Program in Radiography or Associate in Science Degree
• Certification by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in radiography, or equivalent.
• Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Radiography.
• BLS required
• For recent radiologic technology graduate only: ARRT registered certification eligibility in Radiography with RT(R); must obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license.

Pay Range: $41.08-$60.53
