Job summary

IDR is seeking a Business Systems Manager in Nashville to lead the ERP/business applications function with a primary focus on Sage X3. The role combines leadership, technical expertise, and project management within a manufacturing environment to support and enhance the company’s ERP systems.

The position requires hands-on Sage X3 experience, 6+ years in relevant roles, and at least 2 years in people management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Sage X3 ERP experience
• Minimum of 2 years of direct people management experience
• Led or contributed significantly to ERP projects (upgrades, implementations, or integrations)
• Experience working with business stakeholders to develop technical solutions
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including BOMs, MRP, inventory and shipping

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day ERP/business applications operations, primarily Sage X3.
• Manage and mentor a small ERP team (Business Systems Analyst and ERP Developer).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
• Oversee ERP upgrades, integrations, and customizations for stability and efficiency.
• Support initiatives such as EDI, workflow enhancements, and automation projects.
