Job summary

Tellworks Logistics is seeking a Safety & Training Manager to lead safety and training initiatives at the USA Parkway WDC. The role focuses on developing comprehensive safety programs, conducting inspections, and driving a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include leading investigations, coordinating with leadership, and ensuring alignment with corporate standards across locations. Onsite presence is required with potential limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Industrial Engineering, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years managing safety and training programs in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and related regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to develop and implement training programs and foster a safety culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with learning management systems and e-learning tools.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive health, safety, and compliance programs for the WDC.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards and ensure adherence to standards.
• Lead accident and incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and monitor SOC and PPE compliance across WDC operations.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reporting safety metrics, and identifying improvements.
• Establish and lead a WDC Safety Committee and promote proactive safety engagement.
• Collaborate with leadership to align safety and training initiatives with company standards across locations.
• Recommend and implement process improvements based on data analysis.
