Job summary
A municipal gas utility is offering internships for Engineering students in Field Operations and Gas Processing. Interns will assist in creating a Culture of Safety, reviewing reports, and updating safety protocols. Candidates must be full-time students, pursuing relevant degrees, and commit to 15–20 hours weekly. Previous internship experience is preferred, and strong analytical and computer skills are necessary. This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Be a full-time student currently enrolled in an accredited university or college.
Have a sophomore classification or above.
Be in good academic standing.
Previous internship experience is preferred.
Commit to 15–20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Assist the Manager with creating a Culture of Safety.
Review injury and motor vehicle accident reports.
Electronic filing of training documents.
Create and refine Microsoft Excel sheets for tracking employee Training.
Review work procedures and update safety protocols.
Participate in field observations with a Safety Supervisor.
