Qualifications

• Candidates must be actively enrolled in an undergrad or master's program in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health or related field.
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale), verified through an official transcript from the previous semester.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for Contractor Utility Operations Safety day-to-day tasks.
• Limited travel to work sites within Entergy service territories.
• Support the development, delivery and deployment of safety program components.
• Analyze and monitor observation tools, indicators and actions related to safety observation program.
• Participate in safety event analysis and learning studies.
• Participate in System Incident Response efforts as part of the Entergy Incident Command Structure as assigned.
• Participating in Contractor Safety process development and deployment.
