Transdev in Plattsburgh, N.Y. is hiring a Driver/Operator Trainer to facilitate classroom and behind-the-wheel training to drivers as well as overseeing the safety programs at this location. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Qualifications

• ValidClassAorBCDLwithPassengerEndorsementsforaminimumof2years.
• Minimum2years'experiencedrivingaCommercialMotorVehicle(CMV)
• 1to3yearstransportation&safetyexperience.
• Knowledgeoffederalandstatesafetyrulesandregulations.
• Mustbeabletoworkshiftsorflexibleworkschedulesasneeded.
• SubjecttoaDOTdrugtestingandphysicalifapplicable.DOTRegulation49CFRPart40doesnot authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Workoutsideinvaryingtemperature,weather,andhumidityconditions-100%ofthejobisperformed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sitforextendedperiods(upto6–8hoursperday);frequentlywalkforlongdistancesandonpossible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
