Magnum Electric Inc is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist/Coordinator fluent in Spanish for a project-based role in Ellendale, ND. The successful candidate will enforce safety regulations across projects, lead inspections, and manage incident investigations to prevent recurrence.

Requirements include 2+ years in construction safety, strong regulatory knowledge, and proficient report writing. CSP/CHST and willingness to relocate to project sites are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across all assigned projects.
• Assist with regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and direct corrective actions.
• Assist lead investigator for accidents, incidents, and near misses, determining root causes and developing prevention strategies.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on safety performance, incident rates, trends, and recommendations to project and company leadership.
• Deliver safety training sessions and mentor junior safety staff and site coordinators on best practices.
• Serve as a point of contact with regulatory agencies during inspections, audits, or claims.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and maintain accurate, audit-ready records of incidents, training, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Review and help develop site-specific safety plans, job hazard analyses, and emergency action plans.
• Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends in safety management, sharing knowledge across project teams.
