Role Description

The Safety Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Andrews, TX, responsible for supporting and enhancing the company's safety programs in field and facility operations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting safety inspections and audits, identifying and mitigating hazards, and monitoring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves delivering safety training and toolbox talks, maintaining safety documentation and records, and assisting with the development and implementation of safety procedures. The Safety Specialist will investigate incidents and near misses, prepare reports with root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Collaboration with supervisors and field crews to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in field conditions, travel to job sites as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, CSST, or equivalent) and prior experience in a safety or HSE role in energy, construction, or industrial settings are preferred.
