Eckerd Connects in Albany, GA is seeking a Safety, Security & Transportation Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure safety for students, staff, and center property. The role includes developing safety plans, coordinating 24/7 coverage, and liaising with law enforcement.

The position requires a high school diploma, preferred bachelor's degree in criminal justice, 3–5 years supervisory experience, and a valid driver's license. Drug screen and background check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, police science or related field preferred.
• Three to five years supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must pass drug screen per policy.
• Employment contingent on nationwide background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of Safety, Security & Transportation to ensure safety for students, staff, center property and community.
• Evaluate staff performance, provide training and implement personnel changes as approved by the Center Director.
• Develop and monitor staff schedules for 24/7 coverage.
• Develop and maintain Center Safety Plan, Emergency and Disaster Plan, and weather-related evacuation plan; conduct yearly risk assessments.
• Establish and communicate safety, security, and fire prevention policies with center and OSHA/DOL regulations.
• Serve as liaison with law enforcement and monitor facilities for OSHA compliance.
