The position emphasizes reporting, incident handling, and collaboration with law enforcement and staff. A high school diploma and background check are needed; a CDL and valid license are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, two years of related security experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or four years of professional experience in youth services is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable record preferred; CDL may be required.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security and Transportation personnel on assigned shifts following policies and procedures.
• Periodically tour the center to stay aware of center activity.
• Act as primary on‑center contact when needed for immediate safety responses.
• Provide security advisement and supervision to protect people and property from threats.
• Maintain a logbook of calls, incidents, observations and actions taken.
• Inform management of major incidents and urgent issues.

Skills

Two+ years security experience

Valid driver's license

CDL preferred
