Job summary

Eckerd Connects is seeking a Safety, Security & Transportation Manager to supervise the day-to-day operations ensuring maximum safety for students, staff and center property. The role involves evaluating staff, training, and maintaining a robust Safety Plan including disaster and weather procedures.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a Bachelor's in criminal justice or related field and 3–5 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three to five years’ supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen per policy.
• Nationwide criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• supervise day-to-day operations of Safety, Security & Transportation to ensure maximum safety for students, staff, and property.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide training; implement personnel changes as approved by Center Director.
• Develop and monitor staff schedules for 24/7 coverage.
• Develop and maintain Safety/Disaster/Weather plans and conduct risk assessments.
• Establish safety and fire prevention policies compliant with regulations; liaise with law enforcement.
• Represent the center and coordinate with local authorities.
