Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Reporting & Analytics to provide reliable performance information for the Safety and Security team.

The role translates business objectives into reporting plans and ensures high-quality reporting capabilities while partnering with cross-functional leaders. You will guide prioritization, data requirements, and governance, improving access to insights and supporting strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years managing reporting portfolios, priorities and delivery processes.
• Experience with reporting governance and portfolio-level practices.
• Experience prioritizing stakeholder demand and reporting commitments.
• Experience enabling automation, self-service, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Safety & Security reporting portfolio and delivery process, establishing priorities and service expectations.
• Forecast future data needs and define data requirements to support programs and regulatory requirements.
• Prioritize stakeholder reporting needs and translate objectives into reporting priorities.
• Own the quality and reliability of reporting and metrics, including data validation and issue resolution.
• Translate data into actionable insights for leaders to understand performance and trends.
• Lead reporting improvements, including automation and self-service capabilities.
• Establish and maintain reporting practices, standards, and documentation.
