Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a Safety & Security Advisor at the Delaware Valley Job Corps Center in Callicoon, NY. The role is full-time with multiple shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

You will conduct safety inspections, support the Safety & Security Department, respond to emergencies, supervise student security, and help maintain a secure Center environment. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid in-State Driver's License required and ability to meet Company insurability requirements.
• Ability and commitment to maintain a safe and structured environment.
• The ability to sit, stand, climb, walk, lift, pull/push, carry, reach, stoop, and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Follows integrity guidelines and maintains confidential student information.
• Supports Safety & Security Department to keep Center safe, secure, and orderly.
• Conducts safety inspections, security patrols, and facility assessments to address hazards.
• Investigates accidents/incidents and recommends corrective actions.
• Enforces safety, security, and occupational health regulations and procedures.
• Responds to emergencies and assists while maintaining Center security and student accountability.
• Assists with student monitoring, dorm inspections, and contraband searches.
• Helps maintain safety, security, cleanliness, and condition of Center facilities and property.
• Provides support to residential, recreation, transportation, and other Center operations.

Safety & Security Advisor

Location: Delaware Valley Job Corps Center, Callicoon, NY. Salary: $19.11 per hour. Full-time role. Multiple shifts available.

Shift Schedule

• Shift 1: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm / Saturday & Sunday off
• Shift 2: Saturday-Sunday 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday 3pm-12am Tuesday-Wednesday 11:30pm-8:30am / Thursday & Friday off

Job Duties

• Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures while maintaining accurate and confidential student information.
• Supports the Safety & Security Department in maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly Center environment.
• Conducts safety inspections, security patrols, and facility assessments to identify and address potential hazards or security concerns.
• Investigates accidents and incidents, completes required documentation, and recommends corrective action as directed by management.
• Enforces applicable safety, security, and occupational health regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Responds to emergencies and requests for assistance while maintaining Center security, visitor control, and student accountability.
• Assists with student monitoring, dorm inspections, contraband searches, and other security-related activities as needed.
• Helps maintain the safety, security, cleanliness, and condition of Center facilities and property.
• Provides support to residential, recreation, transportation, and other Center operations as needed.
• Maintains reliable attendance, professionalism, productivity, and timely completion of assigned duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid in-State Driver's License required and ability to meet Company insurability requirements.

• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and/or assess the lift load and request assistance when necessary.
