Job summary

Delaware Valley Job Corps is seeking a Safety & Security Advisor at their campus in Callicoon, NY. The role focuses on leading the Safety & Security team to keep students and staff safe and to supervise day-to-day protective operations.

You will conduct investigations, enforce safety directives, perform inspections, oversee visitor control, and maintain accurate reports. The position emphasizes mentoring students and upholding Career Success Standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to maintain a safe and structured environment
• Valid in-state driver’s license required and must meet Company insurability requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Safety & Security team to keep students and staff safe
• Conduct investigations of incidents and accidents, implementing measures to prevent recurrence
• Ensure compliance with PRH, OSHA, and other safety directives
• Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve hazards
• Oversee security, visitor control, and student accountability
• Coordinate staff coverage to maintain supervised student areas
• Provide operational support to ensure smooth center operations
• Mentor students and model Career Success Standards
• Maintain accurate reports and data on safety, security, and incidents
