Job summary
Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Safety & Quality Manager for the Renewables division in Oklahoma City, OK. You will drive safety and quality rigor across field operations, support training, compliance, and continuous improvement, and report to the OMS Renewables Executive.
You will lead incident investigations, manage procedures, and collaborate with field teams to strengthen safety culture and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- 8+ years of safety leadership and quality assurance experience
- Experience with wind energy, renewables, or industrial field services preferred
- Experience developing training content and safety/quality programs
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks in renewable-energy field operations
Responsibilities
- Lead safety and quality programs across the Renewables group.
- Strengthen safety culture and improve reporting practices.
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety and quality programs and procedures.
- Manage employee training, certifications, and compliance tracking.
- Review and update operating procedures for regulatory alignment.
- Engage with field teams and provide guidance and corrective action leadership.
- Monitor safety metrics, analyze trends, and drive corrective actions.
- Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
- Ensure documentation, communication, and reporting across teams.
- Assist with audits and regulatory compliance reviews.
- Own ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 adherence; travel as needed.
