Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Safety & Quality Manager for its Renewables division based in Oklahoma City, OK. You will lead safety and quality programs across the Renewables group, ensuring alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

You will report to the OMS Renewables Executive, manage training and compliance, oversee procedures, and drive continuous improvement while traveling as needed to support field activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of safety leadership and quality assurance experience in wind/renewables or industrial field services.
• Experience developing training content, procedures, and safety/quality programs.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks common to renewable-energy field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety and quality programs across the Renewables group, ensuring alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strengthen and promote a positive safety culture, enhancing communication and reporting practices.
• Develop, implement, and oversee safety and quality programs, procedures, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Manage employee training, certifications, compliance tracking, and readiness for field activities.
• Review, develop, update, and approve operating procedures, ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.
• Engage directly with field teams, offering guidance, support, and corrective action leadership.
• Partner with leadership to monitor safety metrics, analyze trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and follow‑through on mitigation plans.
• Ensure consistent documentation, communication, and reporting across operational teams.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance reviews.
• Own ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 adherence and compliance
• Travel as needed to support safety and quality initiatives in our fleet.
