Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Safety Specialist for the 2nd shift in Stevens Point, WI. You will administer the Lineage Safety Program to ensure a safe, controlled, and incident-free environment while following all regulatory and company standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating audits, investigating incidents, communicating safety policies, and keeping accurate records. A HS diploma and 2 years in safety compliance are required; MS Office skills and ability to work in cold/hot storage

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 2 years of related experience in safety compliance roles.
• Knowledge of safety regulations/standards and employer obligations for work-related injuries.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Lineage Safety Program to ensure a safe, controlled, and risk-free environment.
• Work with leadership to prepare for internal and external audits.
• Partner with Operations to resolve facility and customer issues.
• Conduct accident investigations and communicate safety policies to all staff.
• Lead meetings to discuss safety policies and changes; address safety or quality issues.
• Monitor safety supplies and notify for replacements; maintain records and logs.
