Job summary

Lineage is seeking an Administer the Lineage Safety Program to maintain a safe, compliant workplace in Bedford Park, IL. The role requires coordinating audits, investigating incidents, and ensuring follow-through on safety policies with leadership and operations.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in cold storage and hot environments while wearing PPE.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years' related experience in safety compliance roles.
• Knowledge of safety regulations/standards and employer obligations for work-related injuries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and noisy environments with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for internal and external audits with leadership.
• Partner with Operations to resolve facility and customer issues.
• Conduct accident investigations and ensure safety policies are followed.
• Lead meetings to inform team about new safety policies and address issues.
• Monitor safety supplies and notify for replacements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date recordkeeping systems.
