Job summary

Novolex in Brookshire, TX is hiring a Safety & Quality Coordinator to manage safety programs, quality controls, and regulatory compliance for our packaging facility. You will work closely with the Safety Manager to drive a zero-injury culture, ensure GMP and SQF compliance, and audit plant systems for quality assurance.

The role requires OSHA 10-hour certification, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
• OSHA 10-hour certification required (OSHA 30-hour preferred)
• Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
• Investigate accidents and incidents with cross-functional teams
• Lead safety training and audits to ensure compliance with GMP and SQF
• Coordinate pest control and sanitation inspections
• Monitor quality and compliance with customer specifications and regulations
