Job summary

OSHR Temporary Solutions is seeking a Safety Consultant to support the NC DNCR – HR & Safety division. The role will help develop safety programs, provide technical safety expertise, investigate incidents, and deliver safety training. Some travel is expected, including potential overnight stays.

The position emphasizes compliance, policy development, and communicating safety concepts clearly with agency and external staff. This temporary assignment offers no leave or retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, industrial engineering, industrial management, technology, occupational safety, or physical sciences with at least three years of progressive occupational safety/health experience.
