Utility Supply & Construction Company is seeking a Safety & Training Support Specialist to join our growing team in Michigan. You will assist in creating safety and training documentation, manage certifications, schedules, and compliance data.

The role supports safety programs for employees, contractors, and visitors, tracks participation, and helps prepare audits and reports. Strong communication, organization, and proficiency with MS Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's degree or relevant certification in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a safety or training environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to use safety management or training tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and maintaining safety and training documentation and materials.
• Maintain records of employee safety certifications and training schedules.
• Prepare reports and materials for safety and training meetings.
• Coordinate safety and training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Ensure training materials are available for instructors and employees.
• Track participation and completion of required safety courses and certifications.
• Support implementation of safety programs and communicate procedures to employees.
• Help update safety documents, manuals, and emergency response plans.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA and local safety regulations.
