Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in OH&S or related field.
• 3+ years in occupational health and safety or safety management in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing safety programs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 25-30%.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Establish safety policies and procedures and ensure communication across the organization.
• Develop a corporate safety calendar and deliver content to all business units.
• Build a company-wide ergonomics program with third-party partners and medical staff.
• Monitor safety performance and analyze data to identify trends and risks.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Develop safety strategy incorporating HOP and VPP elements.
• Participate in internal EHS audits and inspections.
• Develop and deliver safety training for employees, contractors, and service providers.
• Stay updated on regulations and industry trends and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with leadership, operations, HR, legal, and risk management.
• Coordinate programs like machine guarding, combustible dust, and industrial hygiene.
• Partner to select vendors for programs (arc flash, PPE, etc.).
