Job summary

Ferguson Electric Inc in Western New York is seeking a Safety Professional to lead our safety program across projects. You will drive program development, field inspections, training, and compliance with OSHA and other regulations.

You will mentor field teams, manage incident investigations, and ensure documentation and continuous improvement in safety performance. Travel to job sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of occupational health and safety experience, preferably in the construction or electrical contracting industry with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification in Construction Safety is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety program development, implementation, and enforcement across projects with the Director of Safety.
• Oversee field inspections, PPE management, and site safety compliance.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training for employees and subcontractors.
• Lead incident investigations and document findings; drive corrective actions.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and project safety plans for regulatory agencies.
