Job summary

Ferguson Electric is seeking a Safety Professional to lead its safety program across all projects. Reporting to the Director of Safety, you will develop and enforce policies, oversee PPE, and ensure OSHA compliance.

You will conduct site inspections, mentor field staff on OSHA standards, deliver safety trainings, and prepare reports for clients and regulators. Travel to job sites as needed and partner with project teams to drive continuous safety improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of occupational health and safety experience, preferably in construction or electrical contracting with leadership.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour Construction Safety certification desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of the safety program.
• Oversee field inspections and project-specific safety plans.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents and coordinate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to improve safety.
