Job summary

Construction Safety Officer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Continuous inspection of project sites, to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Assessment and approval of in-house and subcontractor safety plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, preparing construction health and safety plans.
• Inspection of tools and safety equipment to ensure they comply with all safety standards.
• Creating and enforcing safety guidelines and programs.
• Conduct investigations into incidents. To be the first responder and direct liaison with all parties if an incident were to occur.
• Verifying that all safety reports are submitted to related government institutions.
• Attending project planning meetings and collaborating with project managers.
