The ideal candidate will have a CHST or BCSP credential and proven civil construction experience, with strong OSHA knowledge and field presence to drive safety compliance and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily safety activities for civil construction operations
• Maintain a strong field presence alongside craft personnel and project supervision
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, field observations, and risk assessments
• Monitor mass grading, footing excavation, and earthmoving activities
• Oversee heavy equipment operations, haul routes, and material handling activities
• Ensure compliance with OSHA excavation standards and project safety requirements
• Monitor excavation protection systems, access/egress, and changing soil conditions
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), excavation permits, and pre-task plans
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, inspections, and compliance records
• Partner with project leadership to proactively identify and mitigate hazards
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project

Construction Safety Manager

Location: McCarran, NV

Duration: 6+ Months (Immediate Need)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $56/hr
• Per Diem: $150/Day (7 Days Per Week)
• Completion Bonus: $150/month
• Pay Frequency: Weekly
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (10-Hour Shifts) | Saturday (8-Hour Shift)
• Approximately 58 Hours Per Week
