Job summary

Diversified Safety Services is seeking an experienced, full-time on-site Safety Professional to lead safety efforts on large-scale data center projects. This role demands a proven safety leader with hazard recognition and risk mitigation skills to foster a proactive safety culture.

Responsibilities include acting as the on-site safety representative for the GC, conducting daily inspections, enforcing safety plans, leading trainings, and maintaining detailed safety records.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Hour Construction required or OSHA 510 preferred.
• First Aid/ CPR.
• NFPA70E is required.
• BCSP Certification (STS-C or CHST) strongly preferred.
• Experience on Data Center projects with a GC is required.
• At least 5 years of construction safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site safety representative supporting the GC, ensuring compliance with project, client, and regulatory safety requirements.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and maintain logs, reports, and safety documentation.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce project-specific safety plans, procedures, and PPE requirements.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and training sessions for site personnel.
• Maintain regular on-site presence and participate in project and team meetings to provide safety guidance.
• Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near misses with corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Support additional project-specific safety initiatives and compliance requirements as needed.
