Sheakley is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety for drywall and framing operations on a large-scale Reno, NV site. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily safety activities for drywall and framing construction operations.
• Maintain a strong field presence and engage with supervisors and craft personnel.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Monitor elevated work activities, fall protection systems, and material handling operations.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Deliver new hire orientations and ongoing safety training.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and pre-task plans.
• Maintain digital safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• Track workforce training, certifications, and project compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to proactively identify and mitigate hazards.
• Serve as the project's eyes and ears by identifying risks before incidents occur.
• Promote a positive safety culture across the project.

Construction Safety Manager

Location: Reno, NV

Duration: 6+ Months (Immediate Need)

Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $56/hr

Per Diem: $150/Day (7 Days Per Week)

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: Mon-Friday: 6:00-2:30. Weekends as needed.
