Location: Vernon, TX
Duration: 3+ Months (Start: 8/3)
Type: 1099 Contractor
Pay Rate: $60/hr (Local) | $52/hr (Non-Local)
Per Diem: $125/Day (7 Days Per Week for Non-Local Candidates)
Completion Bonus: $150/month
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Saturday | 12-Hour Days 60+hours/WK
Join a structural steel contractor supporting the construction of a large-scale data center in Vernon, TX. The Construction Safety Manager will work closely with ironworkers, crane operators, and project leadership to oversee structural framing, steel erection, rigging, bolting, welding, and elevated work while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety standards.
The ideal candidate is a highly visible, field-focused safety professional with extensive structural steel construction experience who can effectively support ironworkers, crane operators, and project leadership while proactively identifying hazards and maintaining compliance.
Success in this role requires the ability to manage the risks associated with steel erection, elevated work, crane operations, and rigging while adapting work planning to changing environmental conditions such as heat restrictions and maintaining productivity without compromising safety.
Salary: $52 - $60 per hour
