Job summary

FDRsafety is seeking a Safety Lead for a 6-12 month commercial construction project near Vernon, TX. The role involves developing, executing, and enforcing Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all job sites, with a 6-10 dayshift schedule.

The successful candidate will evaluate safety practices to OSHA requirements, conduct safety investigations, and propose preventive measures. A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a safety lead and OSHA 30 in Construction is required; CHST or OSHA 510 are

Qualifications

• 10+ years of consecutive commercial construction experience as a safety lead and an OSHA 30 in Construction is required.
• Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction is strongly preferred.
• CHST (BCSP) certification is strongly preferred.
• OSHA 510 Certification is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and enforce Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites.
• Evaluate and update safety practices and procedures in adherence to changing legal and OSHA requirements.
• Conduct special studies and investigations related to health and safety matters for the company.

This individual will be expected to work on a Monday-Saturday, 6-10, dayshift schedule for the duration of the project. This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites. Per diem is available for non-local candidates.
