Beacon Mobility seeks a qualified leader to manage driver training and safety. The role includes orientation, on-road coaching, and ensuring adherence to policies and performance areas across a demand-responsive fleet.

You will conduct safety trainings, assess driver performance, and assist with interviews and recruitment while maintaining complete personnel records and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Two (2) years of demand-responsive customer service experience (paratransit, taxi, ambulance, etc.).
• Effective leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities to identify developmental needs and help others improve.
• Knowledge of teaching/instructing individuals and groups and measuring training effectiveness.
• CDL license with Passenger Endorsement required.
• DOT medical card issued by a company-authorized provider.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts new hire orientation and driver training (classroom and on-road).
• Provide road training and observation to ensure policy adherence and KPI compliance.
• Assess drivers on customer service, passenger assistance, safety and vehicle checks.
• Perform ride-alongs to observe driver performance.
• Lead or assist with safety training and meetings; conduct investigations and maintain records.
• Recruitment/interview activities and supervise selection of operator applicants.
• Coordinate with General Manager to meet company objectives and ensure compliance with laws.

Easton Coach Company LLCDuties and responsibilities include:Conducts new hire orientation and initial driver training, including classroom and on-road instruction.Provide appropriate road training and observation to ensure drivers adhere to policy and training procedures and comply with key performance areas.Assesses drivers based on customer service, passenger assistance, proper wheelchair/mobility aid securement, vehicle inspection, and more.Performs ride-along to observe drivers’ compliance with key performance areas.Responds to accidents and incidents while reporting them appropriately.Knowledge of principles and methods for teaching and instructing individuals and groups and measuring training effectiveness.Directs, conducts or supervises interviewing, selection, and recruitment of adequate operator applicants to effectively provide safe, efficient service.Manage driver training and may conduct driver training, recommend retraining, and discipline as required.Conduct or assist the General Manager with safety training and meetings. Conduct and review accident/incident investigations and complete reports, maintain complete safety files (example: accident/incident reports, I-9, bus reports, and worker compensation injury reports).Maintain or coordinate complete personnel record keeping.
