  • Manage safety risks involving machining, welding, forklifts, chemical storage and use, high-voltage systems, and high-pressure testing.
  • Support Oil & Gas field activities, including high-voltage and high-pressure work, commissioning, installation, maintenance, mobilization, and vehicle travel.

  • Coordinate emergency drills, post-event reviews, and improvement actions.
  • Manage contractor and vendor safety qualification, orientation, and compliance monitoring.
  • Support customer safety reviews and interface with regulators, insurers, and external parties as needed.
  • Monitor safety performance metrics, identify trends, and present priorities and recommendations to leadership.
  • Partner with Human Resources on applicable drug and alcohol testing and post-incident requirements.
  • Maintain a visible, credible safety presence in manufacturing, warehouse, service, and field operations.
  • Build practical solutions that protect employees while supporting safe, efficient operations.
  • Address unsafe conditions promptly and elevate significant risks appropriately.
  • Translate regulatory and company requirements into clear, workable actions for employees and supervisors.
  • Promote employee involvement, hazard identification, near-miss reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrate ownership, follow-through, professional courage, and strong decision-making.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and practical hazard-control methods.
  • Experience with incident investigation, root-cause analysis, audits, risk assessments, training, and safety metrics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to travel to company, customer, and field locations as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSP, ASP, CSM, OHST, CHST, or comparable safety certification.
  • OSHA 30-Hour General Industry and/or Construction certification.
