Job summary

FDRsafety is seeking a Safety Manager for a 1-year commercial construction project near Harlem, GA. The role will develop, execute, and enforce Health and Safety Policies across all job sites, with a Monday-Friday schedule and potential day or night shifts. Per diem is available for non-local candidates.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in safety for commercial construction, OSHA 500 OR; 5+ years with a Bachelor’s in Safety or CSP (BCSP) and CHST/OSHA 510 preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of consecutive commercial construction experience as a safety professional.
• 5+ years of consecutive commercial construction experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or CSP (BCSP).
• CHST (BCSP) certification and OSHA 510 certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and update safety practices and procedures in adherence to changing legal and OSHA requirements
• Conduct special studies and investigations related to health and safety matters for the company
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures

Job description

FDRsafety is seeking a Safety Manager for a 1-Yearcommercial constructionproject with a large construction client near Harlem, GA. This individual will be expected to work on a Monday-Friday, 5-10, dayshift schedule (Must be willing to work either days or nights) for the duration of the project. This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites. Per diem is available for non-local candidates.
