Incident Investigation and Reporting

  • Build and maintain a robust incident management system (IMS), including communication, reporting procedures, coordination with local urgent cares, and the third-party on-call incident intervention contractor (e.g., Nurse Triage).
  • Lead investigations into workplace accidents, injuries, and near misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage the employees' return-to-work program.

Hazard Assessment, Prevention, and Control

  • Conduct or oversee regular safety audits and risk assessments across all company locations to identify and reduce risks and hazards.
  • Identify and maintain appropriate engineering, administration, and personal protective equipment (PPE) controls for hazard mitigation.
  • Develop and maintain hazard control plans and site-specific health and safety plans as needed.

  • Promote & maintain our streamlined feedback system to enable the timely collection and distribution of critical safety data, including near misses, observations, incidents, corrective actions, and controls.
  • Lead our internal Safety Committee Meetings to communicate, promote, and maintain a safe and healthy workplace by identifying, addressing, and preventing workplace hazards.
  • Attend Sonepar safety meetings to develop relationships with other safety managers, share best practices, and get aligned on upcoming projects.

What You Will Bring
