Job summary

Harsco Environmental in the United States is seeking a safety-focused professional to lead our safety program across sites. You will promote a culture of safety, ensure OSHA compliance, and drive continuous improvement using Lean Sigma ideas.

The role requires travel of 25–30% to other sites, strong organizational skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of staff. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in safety or related field and knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety-related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Exposure to OSHA regulations and workplace safety investigations.

Responsibilities

• Leads a safe working environment and culture with improvement in key safety indicators.
• Creates a culture of continuous improvement and Lean Sigma methodology.
• Provides knowledge-based solutions and services to improve our safety culture.
• Implements and supports safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Assists management to understand OSHA regulations and standards, including guidance on inspections.
• Maintains safety files and records.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, mechanical engineering, occupational safety or health, or related field
