Le Sueur Incorporated is seeking a Safety Specialist to foster a proactive safety culture across all operations in Minnesota. You will partner with departments to assess performance, identify risks, and implement strategies that strengthen safety processes and regulatory compliance.

The role includes supervising safety staff, delivering training, maintaining OSHA-compliant programs, and coordinating emergency response. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a related field or Certified Safety Professional.
• Demonstrated competency developing and delivering Safety Training via in person and software based structure.
• 1+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to become certified in forklift and overhead crane operation.
• Ability to become certified as Emergency Medical Responder.
• Ability to become certified in Chemical Handling.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Safety staff.
• Maintain and improve OSHA/Safety Programs and training.
• Ensure facility compliance with OSHA, Federal and State/Local guidelines.
• Coordinate Emergency Response planning and readiness activities.
• Develop and administer Safety training to staff.
• Compile OSHA, Safety Program, Training and Work Comp metrics and reports.
• Analyze incidents to identify trends and lead root-cause investigations.
