Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Manager for New York projects. The role oversees field safety across active sites, ensuring OSHA and NYC DOB compliance, daily inspections, and HASP/JHA processes.

You will coordinate safety training with field teams and subcontractors, investigate incidents, maintain records, and support audits. The position offers base pay up to 125,000 USD per year, comprehensive benefits, and PTO.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction field safety experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• SST Supervisor (62-Hour) credential in NYC.
• S-56 Construction Site Fire Safety Manager Certificate of Fitness.
• Knowledge of OSHA construction safety regulations and NYC requirements.
• Experience preparing JHAs, JSAs, and safety checklists.
• Experience conducting site safety inspections and implementing corrective actions.
• Experience using MS Office and digital safety reporting tools.
• Experience preparing written safety reports and compliance records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily construction site safety inspections to ensure OSHA and NYC DOB compliance.
• Prepare and maintain daily JHAs, JSAs, safety checklists, and related documentation.
• Identify hazards, evaluate risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor field operations to ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Conduct weekly toolbox talks, safety meetings, and on‑the‑job safety training.
• Investigate accidents and near misses; prepare reports and root cause analyses.
• Coordinate safety training and maintain records and compliance documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor safety practices and project safety requirements.
• Support NYC agency safety procedures and right-of-way requirements.
• Maintain electronic safety reports, incident documentation, and corrective action records.
• Assist safety leadership with audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
