The ideal candidate has 3+ years in field safety, NYC 62-Hour SST supervision, and a strong OSHA background. Base salary ranges up to $125,000 with strong healthcare, 401k, and bonus potential.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction field safety experience including inspections and OSHA compliance.
- Experience preparing daily JHAs and JSAs and safety checklists.
- Knowledge of NYC safety requirements and DOB regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections for OSHA/NYC DOB compliance.
- Prepare and maintain JHAs, JSAs, safety checklists, and reports.
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and on-site training.
- Investigate accidents and near-misses; prepare reports and root-cause analyses.
- Coordinate safety training and maintain training records.
- Monitor subcontractor safety and enforce project safety requirements.
- Support audits and regulatory inspections; document corrective actions.
