Lakeside Foods, Inc invites applications for a Safety Manager in Random Lake, WI. The role leads safety initiatives, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives a proactive safety culture across the site.

You will organize training, manage inspections, and partner with corporate safety for continuous improvement. A Bachelor's in a related field and OSHA certifications are preferred, with strong communication and leadership skills essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in safety program leadership.
• OSHA 10 Hour / OSHA 30 Hour, First Aid/CPR Certification a plus.
• Proven record of implementing safety programs and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with Federal, State and local safety regulations including OSHA and workers' compensation laws.
• Lead incident analysis, reporting and open claims closure.
• Conduct plant inspections and address unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Organize safety training and new hire orientations.
• Budget, purchase and maintain Personal Protective Equipment.
• Build and maintain the location's safety management system (SMS).
• Maintain OSHA 300 log, post summary and file annual reports.
• Ensure monthly safety numbers report and corrective action plan are up-to-date.
• Conduct safety observations and daily surveillance checks.
• Participate in corporate audits and inspections.
• Update emergency action plan, PPE hazard assessment, JSAs, SDS sheets.
• Conduct emergency drills and lockout/tagout audits.
• Assist in equipment purchases ensuring proper guarding.
• Organize and lead safety team meetings.
