Job summary

Great Dane LLC is seeking a Safety Supervisor to advance a strong safety culture across manufacturing operations. You will support development and continuous improvement of plant safety programs, collaborate with leadership and hourly teams, and drive regulatory compliance and employee engagement in safe work practices.

Responsibilities include hazard identification, training delivery, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking to reduce risk and maintain a safe

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety or related field preferred.
• 2–5+ years of relevant safety work experience.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA general industry regulations.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety program design.
• Ability to conduct training and facilitate sessions with 2–20 participants.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to prevent incidents.
• Enforce company safety policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain records of training, audits, and incident reports.
• Lead inspections and audits of machinery, equipment, and work areas.
• Develop and deliver safety training and new hire orientations.
• Investigate incidents to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
