Job summary

E2 Optics in Utah is seeking a Safety Coordinator to lead safety programs across customer sites and internal operations. You will drive program implementation, train staff, and promote a culture of accident prevention and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2–3 years of safety experience in construction, OSHA 30, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work days, nights and weekends as projects require, with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, Associate’s Degree is preferred.
• 2–3 years Occupational Health and/or Safety experience in a construction environment.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to positively influence and encourage others.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work days, nights and weekends as project requires.
• Self-motivated and excellent work ethics.
• Effectiveness working in various work environments.

Responsibilities

• Safety is E2 Optics' number one Core Value. All employees are expected to follow safe work practices and client safety policies and procedures.
• Provides safety and health training, instruction and coaching to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations.
• Assists the Safety Manager with incident/accident investigations, documentation, problem solving and implementation of countermeasures.
• Conducts and/or participates in Safety audits to review practices and records to ensure compliance with relevant H&S programs and OSHA regulations.
• Tracks, trends and drives structured problem solving for recurring safety issues preventing performance targets.
• This position typically requires minimal overnight travel (5%) and some travel as required by E2 Optics.
