Job summary

FDRsafety is seeking a Field Safety Representative for a 6-12-month commercial construction project near Vernon, TX. You will work a Monday-Saturday, 6-10, dayshift schedule for the duration of the project.

You will develop, execute, and enforce Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites, and evaluate practices to ensure OSHA compliance. Per diem is available for non-local candidates and qualifications include OSHA 30, CHST, and OSHA 510 with 5+ years of field experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consecutive commercial construction experience as a safety professional and OSHA 30 in Construction required.
• Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction strongly preferred.
• CHST (BCSP) certification strongly preferred.
• OSHA 510 Certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

This individual will be expected to work on a Monday-Saturday, 6-10, dayshift schedule for the duration of the project. This role will be responsible for the development, execution, and enforcement of Health and Safety Policies and Programs on all project job sites. Per diem is available for non-local candidates.

Evaluating Practices & Procedures:

• Evaluate and update safety practices and procedures in adherence to changing legal and OSHA requirements
• Conduct special studies and investigations related to health and safety matters for the company
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities, or new prevention measures

Education /Knowledge:

• 5+ Years of consecutivecommercial construction experience as a safety professional and an OSHA 30 in Constructionis required.
• Bachelor's degree in health and safety, risk management, occupational safety or construction is strongly preferred
