The Walsh Group is seeking Safety Interns for our Safety Division on projects located in Chicago, IL, Racine, WI, and La Porte, IN. This internship offers hands-on experience in project engineering and field management, with opportunities to travel across the United States to support diverse operations.

Qualifications

• Seeking a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• The ability to work a 12-week work schedule is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in field safety walks
• Help safety manager with first day safety orientations for new employees
• Complete accident and incident reports
• Oversee safety and health of personnel working on company jobsites
• Help safety manager coordinate project safety programs with subcontractors, ensuring company safety policies and procedures are understood and implemented
