Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking Safety Interns for our Northeast Region projects. The program provides hands-on experience in project engineering and field management, with opportunities to travel across the United States and work alongside on-site safety staff.

Interns will participate in field safety walks, safety orientations, incident reporting, and coordination with subcontractors. The 12-week commitment may lead to a full-time role after graduation, with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to commit to a 12-week schedule.
• Willingness to relocate may qualify for a living allowance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in field safety walks.
• Assist safety manager with new-employee safety orientations.
• Complete accident and incident reports.
• Oversee safety and health of personnel on jobsites.
• Coordinate project safety programs with subcontractors to ensure compliance.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred
